Training for cross country

I rushed around the school field.When I was training for cross country my class ran  as well. Some of the class did 6 laps, 2 laps, 3 laps and 4. I did 2. It was warm up time we did fast feet. Some/most of the boys did push-ups plus we did invisible seats.Finally we ran.I was like a cheetah. Some other people were as fast as a lighting bolt.I did my best, but others were faster than me but I don't care I did my best thats why.
After our run our teacher asked us if we walked when we ran, if you walk you have to run  at lunch time.  
I noticed alot of grass flying all around me when we were running.
I felt like a burnt potato when I finished the run.
I thought I was a turtle but I was as fast as a lighting bolt.

FLIGHT

Lift makes the plane/aeroplane go up and take off.Works with thrust.
Gravity makes the plane/aeroplane land.
Drag makes the plan/aeroplane slow down to land.
Thrust makes our plane go forward and faster.
Control means you need to have control because control makes the plane move in different direstions. Planes can not move backwards in the air.

matariki hangi

So when i had the hangi i had meat stuffing and apple sauce and i grabbed one more plate for mum.I did not like the apple sauce but i liked the meat stuffing. When i was peeling i peeled pumpkin and a kumara the hangi was really really really yum (LOL).  Later i was full of stuffing in my tummy that was after the hangi i had an awesome time eating with mum and friends.When i saw the hangi when it was cooking it looked yum so we had photos when room 9 was looking at the hangi cooking.  The photos were awesome the meat was at the bottom because it took longer to cook it so it was at the bottom.

Green is the grass swaying  in all directions .

BLUE

Statistics

We are learning about statistics in maths. One thing I have learnt is pie and  line and bar and leaf and dot plot graphs. You need data x and y axis and data on a graph. A line graph is a graph that has lines on it. A bar graph is a graph that has blocks that do not join to together.                                                                            

Summer Writing

I heard waves crashing and someone kicking sand at someone.
I saw people surfing on their boards.
I felt hot sand on my feed and water on me.
